Well, that was uneventful.

Today is a listy kind of day.

1. Forgot to change my alarm clock from 4:04 to 4:18 in the fargin' morning, so after I got ready to leave for work I crawled back in bed at 4:12 to get up at 4:29. I should actually do that more often, because it feels like I get more rest that way.

2. Need a massage after doing the same task for eight hours.

3. Was ridiculously stressed out when I was getting off work, because I had a dentist appointment right after and my lock wasn't opening on my locker. The lock I've had since I was in seventh grade finally broke and it needed to be cut off. This made me sad.

4. I was not late for my dentist appointment, despite leaving late, taking the wrong exit off the freeway, and then going in the wrong direction for a couple of blocks. It was pretty miraculous. And yet the appointment lasted perhaps two and a half minutes. No joke.

5. My dad's phone call woke me up from my nap after dinner. Yes, I was falling asleep to Naruto, I am ashamed. It's on a slow part, though, and you know, there are slow parts. But. I did see one of the best episodes ever (so far) recently. It was sweetawesome. Check out episode #133. Oh, yeah.

6. Going to San Francisco tomorrow with the mom. We're going to check out a botanical garden and I'll be taking lots of pictures. I've been artistically lame recently, so I need to get on it. Basically all I've got is this really funny picture of a bee.

Looks like it's flailing, "Ooga booga! Haha, scaredja."

7. Made plans to hang out with Granma on Thursday, his only day off this week. Poor guy is working 45 hours out in the hot sun. We're just going to lounge about his house and all. Yep, that's it. Mmhm.

Golden Trio

I saw three movies recently, two at this old local theater that's actually pretty famous for some reason. One I saw with Granma, called "Moon". It was really, really interesting in a "whoa, okay then, huh?" kind of way. It was described to me as a movie about a man alone on a space station on the moon and he slowly goes insane. But there's a heck of a lot more to it than that, let me tell you.

The other movie I saw is "The Hurt Locker", which is basically just this gory action flick about a crazy reckless bomb specialist in Iraq. I don't want to make it sound like a bad movie, because it wasn't, but it was terrible. If that makes any sense? Probably not. You'll just have to see it to figure what I mean by that.

And of course, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I was pretty much stoked about it because it's Harry fargin' Potter, but my best friend since pre-school thought it was mediocre. There's just a couple of things that made absolutely no sense or should have been changed.

ie. The Burrow scene! WTF.
ie. The obviousness of the vanishing cabinet. Way too many hints.
ie. Remus and Tonks are together with no explanation.
ie. Funeral? WTF.
ie. Isn't Felix Felices gold?
ie. Harry is supposed to be an idiot.
ie. Hogwarts battle...?

BUT. Won-won and Luna were awesome like always, Lav was hilarious, Hermione wasn't completely terrible like she normally is, Harry as well. Snape was pretty rad. McLaggen was creepy. Slughorn should have been fatter. Draco was really skinny. McGonagall is aging terribly.

I think that's enough of that, ahem.
