Oh, what a glorious nosebleed.

Before one of my math classes started, I was listening in on a conversation some of the older students were having. They were talking about how people don't really believe that they will ever die. Really, when you're asked the question if you will die eventually, you will say yes, because you know it is inevitable. But if you ask an elderly person if they will die, they say, "Yes, but not tomorrow." And the next day, they will give the same answer, and so on, and so they don't really believe that they will pass on. I just thought that was interesting.

College is becoming less and less lackluster. I miss feeling smart. Actually, that's not quite what I miss. It's more the feeling of being effortlessly smart, when classes were simple and I couldn't understand why people thought the subject was particularly troublesome; that sort of thing. Now I'm the one having a hard time taking everything in myself and it's disorienting. I've got to put more time into understanding the material and it's hard to change your habits sometimes. That's such a lame excuse, though, so much that I wouldn't even consider it one. Like I said, I've fallen victim to catastrophic lethargy.

I've got vacation planned already for the end of May, the day after my last final exam. I'll be visiting my dad again and probably be taking lots of pictures and going shopping. My brother decided to join me, too! It'll be awesome. Perhaps we'll see some X-Men: Wolverine? Hugh Jackman? Yes, please.

PS: Whoever said you can't have your cake and eat it too is a jerk.

All this is temporary.

Yay, photography.

Been worked to death.
Or near death, if you will.
And yet I've been... lethargic?
As well as apathetic towards school, especially.
Fall registration for college is Wednesday.
Ugh. I feel underskilled and increasingly mediocre.

Woke up with a kink in my neck.
It hurt to turn my head to the right.
I need to get a massage.
Need to buy a new mattress.
I can feel the springs when I sit up on my elbows.

And I need to buy a new car.
It kind of dies when I turn the thing on.

New jeans would be good, too.
My work jeans finally died.
There were holes and frays everywhere.
Like, in inappropriate places?

I want to play soccer tomorrow.
But my mom is taking me to get a phone.
A free one. Not bad.
Haven't played soccer in ages.

Been addicted to Tap Tap Revenge II.
Especially the "extreme" song for
Nevershoutnever!'s "Heregoesnothin'".
Yes, there are actually no spaces between those.

Fo'real.

This is officially one of my favorite comic strips.
